PROCEDURE

Hide 52563A 1.INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH

a.

Install the rear bumper upper retainer LH with the clip.


Hide 52562B 2.INSTALL REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


Hide 52156A 3.INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

a.

Install the rear bumper side support LH with the screw.


b.

Install the clip.


Hide 52155A 4.INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


Hide 52016A 5.INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

a.

Install the rear bumper arm sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

Torque:
37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


Hide 52015A 6.INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


Hide 52023 7.INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

a.

for Step Type:

Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

Torque:
37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


b.

w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

Torque:
37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


c.

for Standard Type:

Install the rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

Torque:
37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


Hide 58724 8.INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SERVICE COVER PROTECTOR

a.

Install the No. 2 luggage compartment service cover protector with the 2 clips.


Hide 58723 9.INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SERVICE COVER PROTECTOR

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


Hide 52159 10.INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER

a.

Attach the 10 claws to install the rear bumper cover.


b.

Install the 2 bolts.
